Retrieving text/photo messages that have been deleted in error on a iphone 5c

Today I was clearing old texts from my iphone 5c & cleared them all in error. I googled how to retrieve them & was advised the 1st point of call should be my provider(Vodafone) as they keep all texts & can retrieve them on my behalf.

But trying to get hold of a Vodafone advisor is proving difficult.

Can anyone help with my enquiry please as some of my messages were special.

If there are other methods of retrieving my messages please let me know.

Do you use iCloud and perform back ups to it ?

Vodafone can't retrieve text messages, messages are sent from the message centre direct to the phone and are not stored on the network.

Hopefully, you have backed everything up and can get them back that way.

Unless you have backed the phone up in either iTunes or iCloud the messages have gone.

If you have backed up then any messages before the last backup can be retrieved, messages after that are lost.
