Rural Open Sure Signal - clarification of non-Vodafone access?

Hello,

Our village is set to trial the Rural Open Sure Signal,

I have two questions please:

1) will a Rural Open Sure Signal give "Emergency Calls Only" to users from non-Vodafone networks?

2) will a Rural Open Sure Signal be able to be used by users of Mobile Virtual Network Operators whose host network is the Vodafone network - e.g. TalkTalk and Sainsbury's Mobile (I think) ?

Welcome to the eForum.

You’ll be able to make emergency call, as you don’t need to have network coverage to dial 999.

The Vodafone Rural Sure Signal will only support Vodafone contracts.
