S3 Firmware upgrade??

Hi

Sorry if this is an old question, but my S3 offered a firmware upgrade yesterday. It says it is 149MB in size and has an added feature!

Running Android 4.3.

Any ideas please?

Hi there

No idea.  The only way to find out would be to download it and find out.  It is quite a large update so I'd recommend that you perform a hard reset after updating to it.

I was hoping someone else had taken the plunge first! After bad Samsung updates before I would rather know what the update contained!

And you will never find out from Vodafone on what's on a update

Yes, I guessed no info from Vodafone. Firmware says added feature.

Samsung said that this was from Vodafone so it could be there attempts at locking the phone again

or some Bloatware fix as they have been having issues with there apps

I would Deff avoid even debrand its supprising how differant the phone is
