Hi. I have an S7 Edge on order from Vodafone, due for delivery next week. Could someone confirm if the bootloader will or will not be unlocked? I have heard conflicting stories about the S6 coming unlocked twelve months ago, some say it was, some say it wasn't. And if it does come locked, is it easy to unlock unlike, for example, Verizon in the USA where it's basically impossible.
Thanks in advance, I really don't want to have to cancel my order but I refuse to pay £50 a month for a locked down phone.

I've been in communication with someone on Vodafone Germany who received his phone today from them. He says there is no branding or bloat at all and that the bootloader is unlocked. What I'm wondering is if each country's Vodafone source their phones from Samsung individually, and might have different requests? For example, Germany not ask for the bootloader to be locked but the UK does? Anyone from Vodafone with an idea of this?

I'm now reading the OEM Toggle isn't indicative of an unlocked bootloader. Great, so it might still be locked. I'm trying to find out if there is another way of finding out if it's locked. If anyone has any idea how it can be confirmed, I'd appreciate it.
