If it's a security patch they always seem to be latvoid firmware I've got 7 edge buddy and i manual check. I always check for updates Manually every couple of days or so average about once a week even if I receive a notification ( only had 1 ever) I'll still do a manual search for it
Personally since the nougat update knocked me side ways I've got used to it and quite like it
it's definitely refined.but see the logic in 99 %of it.
But I do also think nougat still has some minor bugs and I was hoping I update would of come along especially for me Samsung pass definitely needs looking at instance if you sign in to your Google account using your phone as they have started asking me.
Well chose yes on one of them as I hardly use it.but just choosing to sign in on that one .

It has have never been the same .it rarely asks to remember a password . Or it's either down
