Might anyone be able to help me understand why my iPhone 5s worked fine this morning but suddenly it said "No SIM" even though it is fully up to date software wise? The Vodafone agent said that updating the software would definitely fix the SIM issue but it's not the case. I can't get hold of anyone on Online support.

Hi @Biggles69 do you have access to another phone you could try your sim in to see if it's a phone/sim/account issue?

Try shutting the iPhone down then remove the SIM card and wipe the chip with a soft cloth and then re insert and reboot the iPhone.
