SMS or TEXT

Hi,

Since the last update i find that when i send an SMS message it turns into a CHAT message and it looks like its sending it via the internet.

I can change it back to text but was wondering if it works like whatsapp now.

Hi there, the last update contained an update to the messaging service, the stock messaging app has been "overuled" by the RCS or message+ messaging app which does act like whatsapp. If no internet link is available the message is sent as a text (or mms) message.

You should be able to disable the app if you want to and go back to the stock app.
