SSL error

Hi
I am trying to set up a CalDAV account to sync my iphone 6 with my BT Yahoo account (***@btinternet.com)
After entering the BT account details, I get a message "Cannot Connect using SSL" with the option of cancelling or continuing without SSL. If I continue without SSL, I get the message "CalDAV account verification failed".

Can someone help please
Btw, I've no idea what SSL is :Sad_face:

SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) is the standard security technology for establishing an encrypted link between a web server and a browser. This link ensures that all data passed between the web server and browsers remain private and integral.

I use my iPhone 6 plus with BTMAIL with the same style email address as you.

Are you setting it up as an IMAP account

What is an IMAP account?
Should I be setting it up as one?

If so, how do I do that?

I use BTMAIL and have an btinternet.com email address.

When setting this up in an iPhone I chose add account in settings , mail/contacts/calendar

I chose 'other' And proceeded to input my email details.

Is that what your wanting to do ?
