Hi, Since a month ago, NEW SGS7e been having problems.
Started with a few auto restarts, very quicky got worse, freezing needing hard reset, factory resets, clearing cache partition etc etc.
Got worse, boot cycles & only just turing back on on a few occassions.
VF replaced the phone. (reconditioned!)
New install, originally restored from smart switch, problems returned, not as bad but many auto restarts, 5- 10 a day. no freezing as yet.
factory reset, cleared partition etc etc.
Clean install of a few apps, still restarting.
Swiftkey uninstalled and only 12 hours but no restarts, I suspect not this but will see. I have hundreds on app on my SGS7e on EE, inc swiftkey & does not miss a beat (well 1 or 2 restarts in a month)
Any ideas!!!
The only this occurred to me today was the sim. I got a new micro with the phone and using the same one. As 99% of time it is fine & never complained about the sim. I will try swapping when next near a VF shop but I think this unlikely.
I rather suspect the original was faulty hardware & this replacment recon unit perhaps faulty & probably had minimal testing, someone returned this one fo a reason.
Has anyone else had problems like this. Could the sim do this, just seems to unlikely to me.
Had 7 galaxy's over the years, never a problem.
Thanks I/A

Hi
What firmware do you have?
I ask because I've read on other forums that the September update has caused some issues for some.
My s7 edge is behaving itself.
If this was my situation I'd contact Samsung uk support online and see if there is a Samsung Services Centre near me to pop into.
