My S5 worked perfectly well until the recent android update.  Since then it runs slow, drops internet, sporadically will not display email to mention a few issues.  

What can be done as a fix?

Hi, have you tried a factory reset after the update, Samsung's quite often need this to sort problems.

Hi, no have not reset. Do you feel this is the best option? The reason for upgrading to the S5 was a factory reset on my S2 that sent it back to the stone age.

I have had Samsung's in the past and factory resets often cured problems, especially after an upgrade.

Its definitely what I would try.

Just make sure you have your important stuff backed up.
