Samsung S6 upgrade pre order not gone through?

I did a pre-order upgrade for a Samsung S6 Edge on 25th March, and got an email saying thank you for upgrading, we're checking your order and will be I touch shortly with an update. I got a text saying the same. I also upgraded my bundle (been on SIM only), and the info said this would take effect from 25th March.

To date, I've heard nothing further. When I log into my account, it tells me I'm ready for an upgrade, and my bundle hasn't changed. I'm giving my daughter my existing phone, and she thinks she's getting it next week when I get my new phone! The details aren't recognised when I try to track the order too.

Have Vodfone messed up my upgrade pre-order???

I have sent the email. I'm extremely unhappy, having been a customer for over 10 years, and not getting g phone calls when promised after having gone through Live Chat, and wasting my time on hold on more than one occasion. Maybe I should have gone through to the option of "thinking of leaving us", although I suspect all operators would have been dealing with calls there too, given what I have been reading on the forum alone.
Do Vodafone really want to lose long standing customers???

Very miffed Eriberri (daughter also miffed because she's without a phone!)

Yea, "helpful" email saying the order couldn't be seen on my account - really? Think I'd worked that out for myself. And the advice - call 191 and upgrade my phone. Every time I call 191 I lose the will to live and give up whilst on endless hold....... The upgrade price options now are not attractive tbh.

It's ok though Vodafone, maybe you don't want a long standing customer signing up for a very increased monthly amount for another 2 years.....

Maybe the Vodafone fairies cancelled your order too, because they had a price increase and appear to be trying to get customers to agree to pay more than was initially agreed?...
