1 little tip I've found with Nougat which is pretty cool is being able to adjust the settings all from the Quick Settings options without having to leave the screen you are on, some of you may already know about this tip.
For example the flashlight brightness adjust can be done by the following:
All you have to do is pull down from the top of your display to toggle the Quick Settings options, then tap on the text entitled Torch (you must tap on the text instead of the icon). A slider with five different intensities will appear. Simply select the one you require.
You can do the same for Power Saving Mode, WiFi, Auto-Rotate, Blue Light Filter, Vibrate and others.
I hope this helps everyone and saves you all a bit of time
Sent from my Note 20 Ultra.

Out of all the tips and tricks I have found and looked up never have I come across this
For me this is amazing and without you mentioning it I would never have come across it
Hands down the best tip I've come across and a massive time saver
I can not believe that feature has never been mentioned before
Thank you

I would bet that you already know this one
Whey you pull down from top if I wanted to go into the settings of sync for example instead of long pressing on the symbol if your you just do a normal press on the word it takes you to the menu but the one I found it most useful for is the torch if you press the word you get a sliding scale to adjust the brightness of the torch.
I haven't tried them all but each one I tried at the time worked and then you can press detail to go to the main page or done if you've finished I've just tried it with blue tooth and it works

Hi @SKYMAN513
I'm still learning new things on my phone everyday
Nougat imo is much better to navigate around with than Marshmallow.

I'll be honest my first impression was oh no
But that was due to the all white look
(which can obviously be changed with theme)
But like you I could not go back and my screen on time I've managed to get nearly 12 hours one day and I have mobile data on
I use location quite a lot and Bluetooth on constantly with my gear fit 2 which is connected all the time so I can get notifications without having to dig my phone out
And from listening to BANDOFBROTHERS
I also started using the Samsung browser and turnoff features I don't use and I've not looked back
I have had problems but they are coming less and I also paid for a dark theme instead of one of the free ones and my phone came alive
Coincidence maybe, but perhaps because they are paid for maybe they are better optimised and spend more time on the detail
