Samsung S7/S7 Edge Pre-Order thread.

Already placed my pre-order for a Gold Samsung S7 on an upgrade!

 

I must say, I am very impressed that pre-orders are being able to be taken within an hour or so of the phone being unveiled at MWC 2016.  Usually you have to wait for days and days for that 'coming soon' button to change to 'pre-order now'.

 

Lets hope Vodafone learn from the debacles of launches of S6, S5 etc and its smoother this time round.  Anyone else pre-ordered theirs already??

I am due for upgrade today also. Not placed it yet but i will be doing soon (S7 black). If i may ask what price plan/upfront cost did you go for.... 

 

Some of the tariffs i have been offered are near on the same as the ones for the s6. i would of thought there would of been a huge difference.

I would hope nott! I've pre-ordered my popcorn and am looking forward to enjoying this years "Where's my phone" thread! :smileylol:

 

Normally the new Samsung Galaxy models are released within my upgrade window, however this time around my upgrade window doesn't start for another 6 weeks or so. I guess Samsung has released this years model a bit earlier?

I'm due an upgrade from my S5, was waiting to see what the S7 Edge could offer. Nice to see microSD card, IP68 rating and the improved battery life.

 

Will have to see what deal Vodafone can offer me. I was liking the look of silver as no blue like my S5, however only gold or black on offer.

I've preordered the edge. no acknowledgement of the VR tho, rang customer services who said it's automatic, hope so, had this with the wireless charger

I've Just been told my Pre-order has been cancelled because of a delay in launch. has anyone else hear this? But i had to go on web chat with them to find out, they never said anything till i asked them about my order.

I pre oreded a S7 black today. i was told i would/should get it 3 days before public release which would be the 8th March. Nothing was said about a delay. Also the gearVR should be includd in my order, from what i understand they are sent together as one package so they should both come together. It's pretty cool that you get the gearVR for free but i dont really know when i would use it. I watched some reveiws on youtube. It looks good but i cant see myself using it that much. I suppose it could be sold maybe for abit of extra cash if it wasn't your thing.
