Smart Prime 6 Charging Port

I purchased a Smart Prime 6 about 2 weeks ago and it's stated playing up. Just now I tried to plug it in to charge, and the cable feels loose in the port, and the charging light isn't coming on. The phone isn't charging. Can this be repaired? I've tested with several USB called and none of them work, but it was fine this morning when I plugged it in at work

If you can try an alternative power cord. 

Other than that Vodafone apply a 30 day faulty returns.

I'd certainly try the 30-day return option.   If you go down the repair route, a) you'll be without your phone for a while and b) you'll have trouble proving this is a fault and not damage.   That latter may be a stumbling block to the return, but probably easier to argue for.
