Smart Prime 6 Tablet - Not booting

Hi all,

I have come to turn my Smart Prime Tab 6 on to stream a tv show and it did not boot. Instead i got 'Powered by Android' Vodafone animation and then just a spinning white circle in the middle of the screen.

I have tried recovery mode and wiped cache and also done a factory reset. No luck!

There is nothing online to help with my issue. Even gone to lengths as trying to find a resolution through Alcatel.. seen as though it is a rebranded POP 10.

Can anyone assist please?

If factory reset is not working through the settings or a hard reset is not working which is typically a series of button presses then if the device has been supplied by Vodafone then they apply a 24 month warranty. 

You could pop it into a Vodafone Store for them to take a look and if necessary send it off. 

Take me time and dated stamped pictures of the device before handing it over to prove its condition of the item. One if it turned on too. Ask the employee to note its condition on their systems too.

I agree with Lee that a repair is the only realistic option.

One thing: is there any chance the battery went flat?   If this happens while the system is writing data, it can become corrupt and unbootable.  Something to watch...
