@garybev Yes, I think this applies to quite a lot of phones.
If what you are aiming for is not to be disturbed by incoming calls or texts overnight, but to have the phone wake you in the morning, a possible option is to put the phone into flight-safe mode overnight. Of course, your phone won't have received anything overnight, so you then need to switch off the flight-safe mode asap. I've used this trick occasionally, but forgotten to switch back to normal mode in the morning, and spent a while wondering why I haven't received expected calls, before the penny has dropped. Of course it's largely a matter of getting into the routine, so one-off usage of the trick is what causes problems!
