If this was my phone the first thing I'd do is go into the phones settings and forget the wifi network and re set it back up and I'd try changing wifi channel on the router incase the phone does not like what it's in at the moment.
Then I'd test the phone by visiting somewhere with wifi like a friends or coffee shop and see how it performs.
If no joy then after backing up and performing a hard reset if that didn't help I'd return it to the shop and if under 30 days request a new replacement or if over ask for a repair.
Hi, thanks for reply, tried all the above but no joy, it's very random, and as the phone is so cheap it's to be expected i suppose. I'll just keep resetting it untill it breaks, then get a proper phone.
