Are you using the official provided charging cable / plug.
Section 1.5 in the User Manual.
If you feel something is wrong try another official cable / plug.
Check no dust or lint is in the charging port.
The phone comes with a 24 month Warranty so any Vodafone shop will be able to help by sending it off if necessary. Issues from a drop or water damage are notvcovered v
