My current feelings...............

I've given up waiting now for the official Vodafone update. I thought given there was an update on the pinned Snow Leopard post with a link to a download it might allow me to use my 3G USB modem again, sadly not.

It's a shame to be honest, especially as I was planning on switching from O2 (as their lack of intelligence in administering mobile contracts is laughable) to Vodafone as the iPhone was available on Vodafone. This unbelievable shambles has pretty much convinced me that neither Vodafone or O2 care at all about their customers and are too big to do so. Looks like I'm off to Orange then doesn't it.

Back to the 3G USB modem. I've been without it for over a month now which is ridiculous, so an email from someone at Vodafone (or some contact details of a real person at Vodafone who I can discuss this with) letting me know that I'll get a refund for this time I've been without the 3G dongle would be appreciated?

Finally I have actually got the modem working using a link someone else posted to a firmware update by Option who manufactures the K3760.

Come on Vodafone, I thought you'd be keen to keep my business and everyone else adversely affected by this?

Hey there BenM,

I know exactly how you feel on the matter, as I too am a Snow Leopard user. Sadly, we can't offer compensation for the time you've not been able to use it, as the product itself was still operable in other circumstances: which is what your contract is tied to, and not your choice of computer or OS. I appreciate that there wasn't clear launch-day release info, which we've fed back to ensure doesn't happen again.

A full release version is in the pipeline for release soon.

Great customer service, just as I expected. A real shame that a company with such resources can't get a fix out. I wonder whether the same will happen for Windows 7 users...................

I will be cancelling as soon as my contract is over and won't return for mobile broadband, mobile phones or anything else.

Regards.

Sorry Daz it clearly states on the modem packaging that it is designed to operate with Mac OS X 10.3.9 or above which to my mind includes Mac OS X 10.6.1 !!

Like many people I've spent an age on this eForum looking for answers and also speaking to VF Tech Support. I've been told just about everything by Tech Support from Snow Leonard isn't supported to its due for release anytime now,

I still feel that VF are in breach of contract however I just want the modem to work. I've spoken with customer service and finally managed to get two months rental back.

I'm thankful that my mobile contracts are with O2 as this has only demonstrated VF's approach to customer service which is appalling at best.

p.s. STOP PRESS - VF VMB v 3.04.10.00 has just been released for the Mac so where's the link on eForum to obtain it ?????
