Mobile Broadband Speed Way Too Slow

Not applicable
I received the samsung nc10 with mobile broadband on a sim 4 days ago. The connection is always 'very poor' wherever i am and it will not connect to facebook chat atall. I really do not want to stay with vodafone broadband if this is as good as it gets!! Ive connected to my home wireless and the broadband connection is perfect including facebook chat..so its clearly a vodafone problem.

Broadband speeds are quite variable - If you got it via the web or phone, youve 7 days to return it. If its via a store, you might not get that option ;(

Hi minn76,

I've checked the coverage for the postcode area listed in your profile, and can confirm that this area is listed as "Variable" coverage indoors. You can check this for yourself using our Coverage Checker tool.

Unfortunately there are currently no plans to upgrade the coverage in this area within the next six months. The great thing with Netbooks and Mobile Broadband however, is that it can be taken away and used anywhere. I would recommend using Wi-Fi whenever it is available, as this will ensure you don't go over your data allowance with us - and for everywhere else, you should be able to connect wherever there is coverage.

Feel free to use our coverage checker tool to verify that the places you will want to use the Netbook have sufficient coverage. If you find that you're not going to be able to make the best usage out of the device because there is no network coverage, then you can return it to the point of sale within 7 days of purchase for a cancellation. The last thing we want is for you to be stuck with something you can't use!

I trust this advice helps :)

Jon
