Sony Experia Z3 no signal since latest update

Hi,

I had been putting off doing the latest update on my Sony for about a month now as i liked the way it was. However last night i decided i have had enough of the little icon in the top corner, so did the update.

Everything went fine, it took about 15 mins to complete. However i haven't had any signal since. I know for sure that i am in a good signal area, as i usually have full signal in my house, and full signal at work, however since the update last night i have absolutely no signal at all.

I have tried resetting the phone, factory resetting it, and downloaded the Sony helper thing for my pc and re did the update, the phone still has no signal.

I have no idea what to do next, and i desperately need my phone as it is also my work phone.

The phone is only about 2 months old.

Please can anyone shed some light? I will happily go back to older software or keep the software im on now, it doesn't bother me, i just need it working again.

Process of elimination: Can U try ure Sim in another phone2 rule out either the Sim or Phone which may be at fault.

I assume you've how's the signal via Vodaphone's mast checker.

I'm are you've factory reset already but perhaps try again and Hard Reset Which is known to help after a firmware update which helps clear out old files.

A back up prior to this is recommended as the procedure can delete saved data on the phones memory.

Google Hard Reset for you make of phone.

If your sim works fine in an alternative phone then I would suggest you contact Sonys UK Support site for further assistance.

Sony have recently launched a newer firmware to allieviate the no signal issue for Z2 / Z3

Plus a few other bug fixes, hopefully should be on VF. It will be firmware build number 23.1.A.1.28
