Hi bandofbrothers, thanks for your response.
As the Rocket Software is a music player does it have its own playlists in there for instead of showing up in the phones native stock app ?
Yes so when i use isyncr to download songs from my iTunes from particular playlists, that playlist will be created in Rocket Player and the ablum art of the songs/ ablum is also added into my file commander pictures folder etc.
I'm assuming you can play the "ton of music" you have with it ?
I am using Rocket player no issue AT ALL. its the phones main ablums & music apps that are not loading files that are clearly on my phone.
Thank you for the links provided, I will give that sony forum a go.
Again thank you for time.

Hi
Youre Welcome.
It sounds like a good music player.
I use the native music app and playlists on my iPhone.
I hope you find resolution from here or other sources.

Hi, can't help with the music problem but on mine WhatsApp doesn't automatically save to album (not the main album page). I am assuming your downloaded ones are the same.
Go to File Commander in your app drawer and click on pictures, then there are various locations for pictures such as downloaded and WhatsApp, have a look there.
You can also open album, click on menu button top left and there are options that open up including folders, have you looked there?
Edit. Should add I have a Z3 not a + so don't know if that's any different?

Hi 63johnw,
Yes when i download an image and then have to open it with a specific program i choose sony 'ablum' & then i press the 3 dots to save the image but it will never save in the sony 'album' program.
I created two folders in the sony 'album' program and then moved pictures from other files to either of the folders I created to see if they would load and again NO JOY at all. its like that app does not want to assocaite itself with anything that isnt either screenshot or taken from the camera app.
Thank you for your suggestion though.

I assume the pics and music files are in a format the Sony apps recognise, eg jpeg and MP3 esprecially? Sorry, I know it's an obvious question, but my wife has a Sony device and the problem there is the opposite - images from every app, including ads, show up in the album! On my HTC, the gallery app has a "show/hide albums" option, which I don't think the Sony has. If yours does, make sure new folders aren't being hidden by default or something.
Also, what happpens if you tap on one of the files in File Commander? Does it open and are you offered a choice of which app to use to do so? It's just possible that detting a default might kick start it.

One possible thing: got into Settings|Apps and find the Album one (you may have to look in All rather than just Downloaded). Open it and then tap on Clear Data (if that's greyed out, Force Stop it first). If it's got corrupted, that should fix it.
