Upgraded from BT Broadband (Home Hub 5) to BT infinity (Bussiness Hub 5) and since then the Sure Signal stopped working. Enabled port clamping, set up port fowarding, set MTU max size, Disabled Smart Setup, replaced network cable (can see VSS on router) Read several post of similar issue, but nothing is working.

@josskent - Thanks for posting.

Please perform a reset of your Sure Signal by following the below.

Hold the reset button for 10 seconds to restore factory settings. This won’t affect the registered information on your online account, like numbers, location, etc. This can take between 20 minutes to 6 hours to complete.

  • Holding the reset for more than 15 seconds will switch off the device.
  • You’ll know the Sure Signal is working when the first light is solid red, the second and third solid white. The fourth light will be solid white when the Sure Signal is in use.

Let us know how you get on.

Thanks Charles, I have performed mutiple resets on the VSS as well as ther router. I have also set up the router from scracth, but still no joy.

@josskent,

It sounds like you've done all you can with the setup.

So we can check there's not a fault with the Sure Signal, please test it at another location such as a friend or family members (preferably using a different ISP).
