Sure signal still not working!

MarkMil
4: Newbie

Eight days now since my sure signal went off and despite vodafone saying they've resolved the problem problem I still have a box of flashing lights that is neither use nor ornament.

I have posted tracert results previously but no one from vodafone has had the decency to reply. Is there anyone out there in Vodafone that can help?????????

At the moment we've three phones that we can't use at home due to the complete lack of even a 2G signal.

Hi Laura,

I tried in different location and seems to work, brought it back to office and only the power light comes on.

Matt I have exactly the same light sequences as you, still waiting for a resolve.
Never had a problem and I've had mine since it came on the market.

I've now got light one on permanently and lights 2 and 4 flashing alternately. It's a bit like a disco here!

Still no service on the phones though despite numerous resets of the SS, the router and also setting up port forwarding a couple of days ago.

What light sequence are you seeing on it? and has anything changed in your internet settings, such as a new router, since it was working and since stopped?

If nothing, then it may just be a bad config file that has been updated, and a new one needs sending.

We changed router and the suresignal box worked straight away when we plugged it in but then stopped working the next day.

The suresignal is only displaying the powerlight and nothing else.

Strange that only the power light is showing.

After changing router, did you reset the suresignal?

If it's a SS3 press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds, if it's a 2 or 1 press and hold reset for 30 seconds, but you also need to remove the power after 10, and put it back in at 20.

just tried the re-set again as you described and all the lights flashed once in sequence but now gone back to just the power light showing.
