SureSignal Works for upto 3 days then goes to Solid Red Power Light

Hi

I have had my SS Mk2 for less than a year and to start with it worked well. However I am now finding that on a regular basis the SS goes from working correctly to just showing a solid power light. This can be for anything from 12 to 72 hours. If I then power cycle the SS it then comes back on line in about 5 minutes and works for another 12-72 hours.

I have tried doing a full hardware reset any number of time and this does not make a difference and done a speedtest which didn't show any problems. The Serial Number is 40120509704

It was tried at my friends some time before so I don't think that was the problem. It still just keeps going offline.

I’ve checked our systems and can see that your Sure Signal connected to our servers just before 6pm last night. Are you still only getting the power light?

To make sure your Sure Signal is as up to date as possible, I’ve just resynced it for you. To make sure the resync completes, can you perform a factory reset:-

• Hold down the reset button until all the lights show/flash (about 30 seconds)
• Keeping the reset button held down, remove then re-insert the power lead.
• Once all lights display release the reset button.
• The Sure Signal will come online in around 1 hour.

If, after the resync/reset, the Sure Signal still only shows the power light, it may be faulty and would need to be sent for a repair. You can get more information about that here.

Do you not read the thread above. The problem with the SS is that it works ok for a few hours or days and then goes to a steady red power light only and needs to be reset.
