Suresignal V2 won't connect additional iPhone 4S

Hi,

I have read the user guides but nothing relevent to my problem unfortunately.

I have a Suresignal V2 which is current connected to an iPhone 5 and a Blackbery 9790. Both are now working fine after a resync a month or so ago. However I have tried to add my wife's new iphone 4S TODAY and it won't connect. She has recieved the text messagesaying she can now use the SS but it is still not connecting. I have reset the iPhone and the suresignal. I have put it in and out of airplane mode but still not connecting.

This is a brand new micro sim as she only ported onto Vodafone from O2 this morning. Could this be faulty?

Would a resync help? If so my SS number is: 40112867508

Many thanks

Matt,

As requested but I have looked at the trouble shooting and I have 2 devises connect to a working Suresignal. The issue is the Suresignal will not recognise a new iPhone 4S?

Hi James-waller,

Thanks for getting back to us.

I’ve checked this and can see your Sure Signal last connected on the 12th February 2013 which is fine.

Your traceroute etc all looks fine too so I’ve resynced your Sure Signal today. Please complete this process by performing a factory reset:

  • Hold the reset button till all the lights come on or flash (about 30 seconds)
  • Keeping the rest button held, remove and re-insert the power lead
  • Once all the lights come on or flash, release the reset button
  • The VSS should come online within the hour

Let me know how you get on.

Thanks,

Jenny

Great. All working this evening. Many thanks.
