Synology ds115j connection issues

Dear community

i need help getting my synology diskstation ds115j up and running with my new router. Just got Vodafone connected and connected my printer and other bits and they worked fine but as soon as I connect my NAS I can’t seem to find it at all listed on my connected devices list. It worked fine on my sky router (after a fiddle around with the port settings) but not even the synology assistant can find it on my new router

I've got exacty the same problem. My Synology DS115j used to work perfectly on my old SKY router, but I've changed to vodafone and the router does not display it. Any solution?

Connect the Nas and a PC to your old router and assign the Nas a fixed IP address outside the DHCP range of the Vodafone router. Also make sure the default gateway and DNS server addresses match the local network IP address of the Vodafone router.  When you then connect the Nas to the Vodafone router you should then be able to find it using the IP address you assigned. Make sure the Nas can get its updates.
