Text messaging

I am receiving text messages fine from the majority of my contacts but I now have two friends for whom I am not recieving any text messages.  What could the problem be?

A multitude of things.  The first thing, if you haven't tried it already, is for you both to delete the contact and set it up again.   If that doesn't work, get your friends to check with their networks (is it the same or different ones?) to see whether the messages are leaving that.

Frankly, it's a minefield.

Welcome to the eForum.

Some phones have a feature where you can block incoming calls and/or texts from certain contacts in your phonebook. I've accidently blocked people using this feature before without realising (sorry Mum!).

If you're unsure how to check if your phone has this feature, let me know which model it is you're using and we can tell you how to do it.

Thanks Ben, it is a Samsung 3 (I think) getting on for 2 years old!
