My Samsung galaxy s 4 mini has just come back from being repaired but texting has stopped and I do not know how to fix this. Can someone please help me. Thanks

Hi,

Process of Elimination: Can you perhaps try your Sim Card in another phone to rule out either the Sim Card or Phone which may be at fault. If an alternative phone takes a bigger sim then the Network Shops have plastic Sim Card Adapters that temporarily make the original Sim Card larger.

Does this issue occur in one place or everywhere. If in one place check your local masts via Vodafone network mast checker

Try a soft reboot by turning your phone off and on.

Thanks for your prompt reply. I can get texting to work if wi fix is on but it used to work without this being on. My sim does work in my old phone. Any other ideas please.

Check that your message centre number is saved in your phone. If this hasn't already been set, you can do this manually. 

Please try the steps in our Network Troubleshooting thread so we can rule this out as the cause.
