Texts to one person fail first time

Hi. When I text my husband's phone it invariably fails. However if I go in and tell it to resend it usually goes through. We are both on the same account with Vodafone and I don't seem to have the this problem with anyone else so wondering what can be done? Both Android phones.Thanks.

Usually a text not getting through or through intermittently can be...

Signal Issues. > Vodafone Network Checker.

Phone issue. 

Degrading Sim Card. 

Mast Congestion. 

The number has been added to either phones text blocking facility but this should really stop all texts.

May I suggest > Can you try your Sim Card in another phone as a process of elimination to rule out the phone or sim card that may be at fault. Try another Sim in your phone. If necessary any Vodafone Shop can replace the Sim Card via a Sim Swap.

Thanks. I'll have to visit a Vodafone shop and see if they can swap the sim. It's weird, if I use Messenger then the message gets through fine and other people's texts seem to be fine, it's just my husbands, almost like they time out. It doesn't seem to matter where I am, at home on wifi, at work or out and about.

It maybe an idea as suggested to try your Sim Card in another phone before carrying out a Sim Swap. However that's your call.
