Just hours before Google is expected to unveil its new flagship smartphones, a retailer in the UK has leaked the full specifications of the Pixel and Pixel XL on its website.

“Introducing Pixel Phone by Google” read the website of the Carphone Warehouse early on Monday morning, as it disclosed a selection of images and just about every other detail of Google’s new smartphones.

The only thing that wasn’t leaked was availability and pricing.

The page has since been removed, however, from the details leaked, it seems that most of the rumours surrounding the new phones are true, with the Pixel and Pixel XL coming with a Snapdragon 821 2.15GHz processor with 4GB RAM and a choice of 32GB or 128GB of internal storage, which can be expanded to 256GB via Micro SD.

The Carphone Warehouse also lists the Pixel as having a 12MP rear camera, with f/2.0 aperture. There is also 5.0 inch full HD AMOLED display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4, with the 8MP selfie camera sitting just above it. The Google Pixel also includes a 2,770mAh battery, which will give you 7 hours of battery life off just 15 minutes of charge.

The larger Google Pixel XL will come with a 5.5 inch quad HD display and is powered by a 3,450 battery, while all other specs and camera setup remains the same as the Google Pixel.

Both phones will ship with Android Nougat 7.1 and are available in a choice of black or white.

The specs listed by Carphone Warehouse also mentions new features including what appears to be Google’s new Assistant app.

Of course, as these specs are from a third party retailer and not from Google, there is a chance they may not be accurate.

With that being said, as they were accidentally leaked so close to the official launch, it is fair to assume they are close to the real thing.

Google will officially unveil the Pixel and Pixel XL at an event in San Francisco on October 4.

The event will be live streamed on Google’s YouTube channel.

Can't say it's anything that wasn't already known though to be fair.

Shame it looks so much like the iPhone, would have been a nice device otherwise.
