I have a K3770 dongle and I recently attempted to play some content on itv player only to get the message "this content is not available in your location". My location is within Rhondda-Cynon-Taf in south Wales.
I gather this has something to do with the dongle connecting to servers outside the UK, but surely there must be some way to identify my location as being within the UK? ITV's help only suggests that I should contact my ISP, which of course in this case is Vodafone.
I look forward to your response.

The national lottery website does something similar when connecting via a mobile broadband connection.
Whilst you will be connecting to Vodafones servers in the UK they have no way to telling where you are when connecting to these servers so they tend to put a blanket block on all mobile broadband connections.
I assume ITV are doing something similar.

Hi DaveTreherbert,
Thanks for posting and welcome to the eForum!
I believe we had a similar situation with customers viewing BBC iPlayer I few months back. I've asked a few contacts including project managers about who we'd need to speak to internally and at ITV about having our servers recognised as UK based in future. It's not something that can be answered over night I'm afraid but I'll post here once I get any updates.
Cheers, Ben

Hi DaveTreherbert,
Just to add, I've emailed the support teams at ITV to see how we'd go about being added to their whitelist. My team will refer to me for an update and I'll maintain this thread with any news I get and if ITV are able to add us.
Cheers, Ben
EDIT: Just to let you know. we've opened communications with ITV's teams and we're working on a way of getting our servers white-listed. We'll continue to update with news as and when we get it.
