Unable to use credit after successfull top-up

I have a non-expiring broadband dongle that I havent used for a few months.  I recently bought credit for it and successfully applied £10 credit.

 

When I view the credit using the software on the laptop I see £10, but when I try to browse any webpages I get redirected to the vodafone top up pages.

 

Why is this?

 

EDIT: I'm a very light user, I've never actually topped this up before.  Is it possibly the fact I should have topped up by £15 and not just £10?

Hi Iain_Knott,

If you have had the dongle for quite a while you will find that you will have to top up £15 in order to get your allowance..

With the newer dongles sold now, you can top up £5 but only get an allowance of 250MB
