We’ve created this thread to help with online problems that may occur when registering, or managing your Sure Signal.
You need an online account so you can register and manage your Sure Signal.
You’ll receive a text as part of the registration process, which contains a security code. This code is only valid for 20 minutes.
We understand that if you own a Sure Signal, you’ll most likely have little or no coverage, so we recommend you register online when you know you’ll be able to receive the text.
Business customers:
If you’re a business customer you can’t register this via My Account and you need to visit Sure Signal for business. Just click ‘Register a Sure Signal’ and enter your company name as the owner and your mobile number as the administrator - this way you can still make any changes needed.
Consumer customers:
You’ll receive a text or email to confirm that the Sure Signal is fully registered.
Please note that problems can occur, if the number that’s registered as the Owner of the Sure Signal, is different than the main number registered for online billing.
Check for planned maintenance:
Check the forum for any planned maintenance. If there is, this will be announced at the top of the Sure Signal forum.
Planned maintenance can involve changes to the registration system, so wait for this to complete and then retry.
Pending active:
If your online account shows the Sure Signal as ‘Pending Active’, then post in this thread and we’ll look into it further.

I have replied to your message and supplied all my information and you have now told me it is automatically deregistered as the account is cancelled as did the adivsors on livechat however the new user is still saying they can't use it!?
This is getting really frustrating as it appears I am being told one thing and them another. If you are telling me it is deregistered why can't they register it?

Hello, like other posters I have tried today to add users to my Sure Signal, but when I log in to My Account I have no link to take me to the area where I can do this, just the option to register a Sure Signal. Can you check this out ? Serial number is 21196784785. I've done this in the past without a problem (last time was probabloy over a year ago ?) but can't access it now.

It's working now - I went through the registration process again, after that I was able to manage the users as expected. Weird that it had lost its registration - I've had it for about 4 years and it's worked fine, but for some reason when I went to manage it the link was not there. But anyway, after going through the registration process again all is well. Thanks.

Please help!
I am trying to find out whether my Sure Signal is de registered. I have spoken to Vodafone twice who have advised me that it is as I am no longer a customer and the account is cancelled that it happened automatically. However the person now trying to use it says they can't register it. They are are being told it is till registered and I'm being told it isn't - who is right?

I went to update a new number on my sure signal toady but the only options i have are register and opt out, when i go to register it it tells me its registered already(to me...)
Any ideas please?

Hi manimal,
Were you trying to update the number the Sure Signal was assigned to? This is automatically included in the list, so if you need to amend this you'd need to transfer ownership to a different number, make the change, and then transfer back.
