Hi All,
After being with vodafone for 24days now, the vodafone connect router simply drops connection at random points every couple of hours... not only internet connections but my NAS drives too. Not sure why but its simply not up to the task for a fast home network.
Anyway, I have now brought a new wifi router (non xdsl) to be my new access point where my NAS etc will connect etc.
However I would now like to connect my new router to the WAN port of the VF connect and make the VF Connect be in Modem only mode.
So far I know,
1. Turn off wifi on the router
Q. How do I modem only mode the VF Connect?
Thanks

The Vodafone VDSL router does not have a modem only mode.
If your Vodafone router will not keep a steady VDSL Internet connection with nothing much else on your network then you possibly have a line problem which you will have to contact Vodafone support to resolve.
Else, what you could do is disable the DHCP in the new router, make sure it has an IP address which is outside the DHCP range of the Vodafone router, connect it to the Vodafone router using an ethernet cable, and then switch off the Vodafone router Wifi.

Changed the router & every problem has been resolved - no line fault.
Now a happy customer.
