Deactivate my V2 Sure Signal Box

Hi, how can I check my V2 Sure Signal Booster box is deactivated so I can sell it on ok. FSN: 40112531054. It has not been used for over 2 years and as I no longer have a vodafone account, customer services won't help me and are referring me to the nearest store which is over an hour away,
