VERY HACKED OFF. I have cancelled BIS 4 times, but you still take the money

Why oh why, do I put myself through this.

 

I have a PAYG sim, the number used to hve BIS for Blackberry on a 9780, I change phones in November 2014

 

So, in November I cancelled my BIS, I even have confirmation.

 

December 2014, text from Vodafone, advising they have taken money for  BIS

So I Cancelled via Chat

Annie: I have just removed the BIS service from your Vodafone account.

 

 

A nagging concern had me  telephone Vodafone, in mid January 2015, to ensure BIS was cancelled.  They even phone me back and confirmed BIS has been removed (Vodafone telephoned me from 0808 000 0133)

I even got a confirmation text (from 885) BIS has been removed

Am not sure if the following will still work, but calling 40035 used to allow you to opt out of bolt ons that are currently enabled - such as BIS.

 

Give it a try and see if it lets you turn it off.

I have now tried that, no idea why Vodafone never offered such advise

 

Will see how it goes and supposedly by opting out I will get a confirmtion text message when it has been done
