Annie: I have just removed the BIS service from your Vodafone account.
A nagging concern had me telephone Vodafone, in mid January 2015, to ensure BIS was cancelled. They even phone me back and confirmed BIS has been removed (Vodafone telephoned me from 0808 000 0133)

Am not sure if the following will still work, but calling 40035 used to allow you to opt out of bolt ons that are currently enabled - such as BIS.
Give it a try and see if it lets you turn it off.

Thanks for the suggestion
I have now tried that, no idea why Vodafone never offered such advise
Will see how it goes and supposedly by opting out I will get a confirmtion text message when it has been done
