VSS Version 1 Lights 1,2 and 4 Solid but phone does not connect

Hi there

 

Since Monday I've had lights 1,2 and 4 on my VSS (version 1) but no phone signal. As per other users on this forum I have tried the reset (button down until lights on, unplug and replug, finger still on buttons until all lights cycle) without success.

 

I suspect a firmware update is needed, but here are the details as usually required.

Have you tried powereing down your phone then restarting it close to the SS box?
