VSS needs resetting after sim card change

I have just changed my phone and it required a nano sim card. The VSS does not seem to recognise my phone and earlier posts suggest it needs resetting. Please can someone reset my VSS. Serial number is 43161662226.

Hi

 

Generic troubleshooting advice is to de register the number from the SS for a period of 24 hours. 

 

And then after the 24 hours re register the number and reboot the phone by turning it Off and On.

The number in question is the Owner's phone (mine). How do I de-register the owner phone? I only see De-Register the SS which I don't want to do.

Here are some reasons why your Sure Signal may not be working with your phone.

 

You’ve recently upgraded and been given a new SIM, or had your SIM replaced.

 

It can take up to two hours for your Sure Signal to recognise a new SIM.

 

If you still experience issues after two hours, log in to My Vodafone to remove and add your number again.

 

If the number is the registered owner of the Sure Signal, you'll need to temporarily transfer ownership to another number. Log in to My Vodafone to do this. Then remove and add your number, and change the ownership back to your number" from Here.

Well, I go to My Vodafone and the Sure Signal management page and see nowhere I can de-register the owner number. It allows me to De-Register the SS or add/delete users only. See attached.. I don't want to De-register the whole box unnecessarily. Cannot see where you transfer ownership either. If you select Edit User that only allows to delete or change to Administrator which I don't think is the same as Admin.

Whst happens when you press 'Manage Users' ?

See the attached screenshots. I get to Manage Services then see Sure Signal link on left. No way to change a user to an Owner that I can see.

Alternatively, de-registering your Sure Signal temporarily and registering it again will refresh your numbers on our server and resolve your issue.
