Hello I'll be visiting the uk from Spain this month and I have some questions regarding my device and roaming.
first off I'd like to say that I have an Apple iPad Air 2 with mobile capabilities which is locked to Vodafone ES. would a uk sim be locked out of my device?
apologies for my ignorance but can I even buy a top up sim for my device for the 2 weeks while I'm visiting friends no family.
Many thanks in advance

Hi, a Vodafone UK sim won't work in your device if its locked to Vodafone ES. If you get it unlocked by Vodafone ES then you could use a UK sim.

Sorry for the second part of your question, if you have the device unlocked you could then get a UK payg sim, top that up then use it for the two weeks here.
Just to add, there are quite a few free WiFi areas now in the UK, your device would work on them without the need for a sim.
You could also use your Vodafone ES sim and pay roaming costs associated with that.
