Vmc For Mac Os X 10.3.9 (with K3565 Modem)

Hi,
Bought a Topup as you go Mobile Broadband dongle yesterday and on installation with my Mac says will only install on mac OS X 10.4 or higher.
Which earlier VMC works for OS X 10.3.9?

I posted an earlier topic seeking a version of Vodafone Mobile Connect for a new K3565 modem to install on MAC 10.3.9.

It says on the box that I'll need "10.3.9 or higher" but when I plug the modem in, the install wizard tells me I need 10.4 or higher.

I've discovered that VMC version 2.06.05 is supposed to be compatible. I can't access the Business Centre download site because I'm not a memeber.

Help, please.

If this doesn't work you may need to update the OS of your MAC to at least Tiger if not Leopard.

Yes, have tried that that. Still no joy.

I'm now confused - that the box says for "a computer running.. Mac OS X Panther 10.3.9 or higher"!

Was there never a VMC version that works with K3565 on OS 10.3.x?

Which version of VMC was installed with the original K3565?

Hi Rob

I'm afraid that it can be rather difficult trying to recover previous versions of the software, the Business site will primarily not allow you to go back indefinately.

Please try to search 'software fo VMC mac' and VMC for OSX 10.3 download (or similar), there may be a few remaining sources with inforation partaingin to this, likely to be in the form of a blog or forum hosting previous version software.

In the meantime I'll continue to search.
