2.update .NET framework to 3.5 SP1. it still same.....

any ideas???

Hi

I ended up formatting 2 laptops from Vista back to XP, Service packs seem not to make any difference.
Make sure you get the latest IDE/SCSI drivers, CD/DVD drivers and chipset drivers for your Dell D630.

http://support.euro.dell.com/support/downl...tid=&impid=

This is a key area, if you are not sure, download all the latest drivers from the dell site and check the date alongside the driver. If it is more recent than the other drivers you know it is a revision.

Use only the software that comes in the stick, EG: do not use the downloable software as there are still disclaimers from Vodafone about what version of VMC goes with what version of stick.
Any software that does not need drivers should be ok (EG not graphivs, audio). Add software one at a time until it fails then remove last installed software and drivers.

Make sure you have agood amount of credit on your SIM for the DATA part.
Make sure you get 3 bars signal level or more
Make sure you get a fast connection (3G, HSDPA etc)
Make sure you have all the latest drivers for your Dell
Check out Nvidia and Sigma for 'known issues'

Good luck, remember it can be done

Also boot into your BIOS and make sure that the boot order is set so not to boot from a USB device, your hex code error hints at a boot device having no access. Make it boot from just hard drive if your are not sure. Then add CD/DVD as primary, HDD as secondary.

Hi Guys, I received the error too. It got me so frustrated that I almost

threw my PC out. Eventually I realised that it was not the modem or the modem software.

This is the only solution that worked for me - find it here:
