Vodafone Billing - Is The UK Unbilled Usage Time Lag Now Officially 24 Hours?

SurfSilver

Customers who have posted enquiries to the Forum in the past about the timeliness of updating of Unbilled Usage data on the website may be interested to see the attached screenshot captured at 08:25 this morning.

It now seems to indicate that the capture of unbilled usage data for calls made in UK may be up to 24 hours out of date. I believe that this is a very recent development - until some months ago it was 72 hours, then changed to 48.

As it's been put on public view on the website, I take it that the 24 hours figure now quoted is the "official" position and that customers may therefore make enquiries if they find that it's not being adhered to. Speaking for myself, I would be prepared to tolerate the occasional variation, but I would wish to be able to regard the quoted figure as the benchmark.

Please note, I am deliberately avoiding the somewhat related question of how the unbilled usage data is presented. This has been much discussed elsewhere, e.g. Forum topic 54465, "Why won't Vodafone provide an online unbilled usage meter?". I am currently in process of preparing some feedback for Vodafone's Director Support function on this and other topics, so it's unnecessary for me to raise it yet again here.

Hi SurfSilver

We always state we are upto 72 hours behind for UK usage and 30 days for roaming from time to time the call data can be sooner than the 72 hours we just cover oursleves by stating 72 hours as call data cannot take any longer than this for us to recieve.

So offically we still stand by our upto 72 hours and 30 days for abroad usage :D

Thanks
Matthew
