Hello.
Approximately two years ago I purchased a Vodafone Dongle to be able to go onto the internet via my Laptop on the few occasions I am away from my Home Router.
It was purchased from Argos and for £15 I got 3GB of Data, which didn't run out except for a time limit of 270days.
I have now gone to top it up and I see a message I'll only get 1GB for £15???
What's going on, have I read the wrong thing?? Certainly hope so, I have had no literature from Vodafone with regards this.
Please put me out of my misery!!!

Hi Cupra R,
To be honest with you the old Dongle set up shouldn’t have changed and when you top up you should still get the same 3GB limit.
I’m afraid that the only way to see if this has some how changed will be to top up and see what allocation you are given.
If you only get the 1GB allowance please let us know.

I have never heard of a 270 day limit. The only payg plans that I'm aware of are 2gb in 30 days(used to be 3gb), £5 for 250mb or an older one which was £15 for 1gb but with no time limit. If a sim isn't used for about 6 months, the number is usually recycled and credit is lost. One of the moderators should be able to tell you which plan your on.

Hi CupraR,
With the PAYG dongles, there is no contract commitment, so the available top-up propositions are subject to change. As such, there is no requirement to notify customers of changes to the availabe top-ups as you are not tied to any commitment period.
Whilst it is possible that top ups on an old dongle will not expire after 30 days, the allowances available and the cost of these is the same for all customers.
