Hi there I wondered if anyone knew, is Mirrorlink an Android component or is it phone specific?
I have just upgraded from a z3 compact to a VFD900 and I can't connect the VFD to my Sony head unit. With my old Z3 I could just plug it in, the head unit would recognise the phone and show up the display which was great for google maps when navigating etc.
The head unit just says device not supported when I plug in the VFD and I can't find any settings or description for mirrorlink. The phones were both running the same Android version (6.0.1) so I'm assuming mirrorlink is phone specific, in which case is there any way to get mirrorlink on my new phone please?
