Vodafone Smart Ultra 6 Charging Leads

Bought an Ultra 6 last year and another a couple of months back and have just discovered that the old lead doesn't fit the new phone and vica versa. I thought that these leads were universal! Was I wrong?

Hope your well. 

It can happen where a manufacturer changes the Charging port on a phone. 

For example Apple changed the 30 pin port to a lightening one. 

Samsung are looking at going from a micro USB port to a USB Type c port style. 

Im not sure with yours. I assume it's definitely not the same ?

Thanks for that ultra smart rapid reply. I will know now not to try and force-fit the leads onto the wrong phones.

To be honest with the Samsung s7 edge I'm always trying to insert the Charging micro USB port in upside down :smileyembarrassed:  so I've invested in a Samsung Wireless Charging Stand so now I just place the phone on it and it charges from that.

Do you know if Vodafone has such a gadget for charging the Smart Ultra 6?

Not sure if a wireless Stand or pad will work with it. 

The phone would need a wireless Charging coil in it. 

I dont think it has one built into it.

Was both phones and chargers supplied by Vodafone directly?

If this was my situation I'd possibly pop into my local Vodafone High street store and check out the display models and chargers on sale and ask the instore employees.

If I lived near to a V store then I might pop in too. However, since I don't and also since we don't try to use each other's charging leads, I guess we'll just soldier on with the status quo.
