Hello.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 which also comes with the Vodafone Updates built in.
However, almost 2-3 times every day when using a certain app, I get an error message that says 'Unfortunately Vodafone Updates has stopped'.
Do you know if there is a fix for this as the last thing I want to do is uninstall the Updates app.
Many thanks,
Christopher

I have a galaxy s5 and ever since I upgraded to android version 5 I have had this problem. I can't disable it only force stop and clear cache.
It appears to happen whenever an app such as Google now or Gmail try to open the browser to goto a link/Web page.
It is now getting very annoying. If I need to go to a link or Web site from another app ì have to do it manually!

Hi @wayne_
We recommend that you do a factory reset on your phone.
Please remember to follow the steps to back up your stuff, otherwise you'll lose it.
Let me know how you get on.
Thanks,
Amanda

Hi Amanda,
I was reluctant at doing a reset after reading reports saying the problem was still there, also having to set my phone backup to where I want it.
But, I proceded and it appears to be working now except I now keep getting a message saying Contacts has stopped working

Hi @wayne_
I’m pleased to see the reset fixed the issue.
When do you get this message (what are you doing at the time)?
Also, have a look at what apps you have open or running in the background at the time.
Thanks,
Jenny

I will give it a go when I get the chance.
