Hello.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 which also comes with the Vodafone Updates built in.
However, almost 2-3 times every day when using a certain app, I get an error message that says 'Unfortunately Vodafone Updates has stopped'.
Do you know if there is a fix for this as the last thing I want to do is uninstall the Updates app.
Many thanks,
Christopher

Hi there
I don't believe that you will be able to remove that App - I seem to think it is part of the ROM. If you go to Settings > Applications > All and then scroll down to the App, you may be able to clear the cache and data. That may sort out your issue for you.

Hello,
I did what you said but I only had an option to clear the cache.
Hopefully this will sort it and I'll keep you updated if it happens again.
Thanks.

If it persists, it might be worth uninstalling and reinstalling the other app. It's just possible that has got corrupted and is interfering with Vodafone Updates.

Hello,
Unfortunately this app doesn't exist in the Google Play Store as it only comes preloaded with the phone.
Just connected the S4 to my laptop so I could upload my pictures to Dropbox and it came up with the error again.
It's really weird.
Thanks

The other possibility is that the connection is too slow and the server is timing out. Are you on 2G, 3G or wifi?

Hello,
I'm on Wi-Fi along with full 3G signal due to having the Vodafone Sure Signal in the house.
Thanks

Hmm. This is an issue that seems to be cropping up in various guises at the moment and I wonder whether there's an issue with the server.

Ahhh I see.
I've typed the error into Google but nothing comes up.
I guess we'll have to wait and see if Vodafone reply back with a fix.
Many thanks.
