Vodafone super mini playing through headphones and phone speaker!

Whilst my Samsung S3 is away with your claims department I have kind;y been borrowed a smart mini from the store. However when I play music through my spotify app it also plays through not only through the inputted headphones but through the speakers on the phone. Slightly embarassing for my commute to work on the train! Any help on how to rectify this?

You could try pushing the headphone jack in a little further / harder, to see if it is a physical connection problem, if you have not already tried that kind of wiggling-it-around fix? I would suspect that the trigger in the socket is not being hit properly, rather than it being a software issue, but it could be a bug in the device firmware — it has been a few years since I last saw a device with this problem, though.

I agree, it could well be a slightly dodgy device.   However, is there an option within the player settings to turn the speaker on or off?  That might be workround.
